What if i say we all are equal, not only as per the Constitution, but also according to religion. What if i argue caste system doesn’t exist and never existed in our Hindu scriptures! Surprised! Yes it is so. Caste system is a social engineering and a later addition to the social practices and customs of the Hindu Samaj. In order to know the essence of Hindu Dharma, we need to dig into the Vedas — the house of supreme knowledge, and not any other scripture (including the Puranas). If something is eternal, that is the Vedas.
